I became inspired to build a purpose-driven movement around my journey as a cancer survivor to help other individuals experiencing similar challenges. In 2021, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 cervical cancer, underwent multiple surgeries, 5 rounds of chemo and 27 days of radiation.
I know how overwhelming it can be to cope with this new reality — which is what sparked the creation of the OGC Wellness Guide (click below). It’s a resource born from lived experience, to help manage the disruption and offer grounding support.
I believe in enriching the lives of the patients and communities, especially those with limited resources, in ways that go beyond a prescription. There's power in taking autonomy over our lifestyles and leaning into community to aid in the healing process. My journey through treatment and survivorship fuels my commitment to walk alongside others and help them feel seen, supported, and empowered on their journey — stronger, together, Of Good Cheer.
OGC rallies as a community to show up for ourselves and loved ones impacted by cancer or a chronic illness to educate, uplift, empower and assist.
We equip patients and caregivers with tools, resources and wellness guidance to help navigate their healing journeys and cultivate personal growth.
OGC aims to enhance health literacy, encourage a holistic lifestyle approach, foster empathy and improve survivor outcome.
We believe in guiding our community in need towards discovering their own inner strength & resilience. Everyone has the ability and choice to create a thriving life post diagnosis, and we here to help you achieve that.
